The Austin Firefighters Cancer Support Network (AFCN) is a dedicated group of firefighters, families, and advocates united in the fight against occupational cancer. As part of a national network, our mission is to provide emotional support, guidance, and practical resources to firefighters and their loved ones facing a cancer diagnosis, treatment, or recovery.

We understand the unique risks firefighters face on the job—and we believe no one should face cancer alone. Whether it’s connecting newly diagnosed members with peer mentors, offering up-to-date information on prevention and early detection, or supporting families during the toughest times, AFCN is committed to standing beside our fire service community every step of the way.

Through education, advocacy, and peer-driven support, we strive to raise awareness about firefighter cancer risks and promote proactive measures to protect those who protect us.
